Connecticut Flooring Contractor Guide lists flooring contractors across the state with scores based on a single, consistent rubric applied to all public Google reviews for each business. Your listing costs nothing, and payment will never affect your score or ranking. This page explains how to update factual information about your business, challenge data accuracy if you believe something is wrong, or request that your listing be taken down. Updating your business information

Factual errors (business name, address, phone, website, hours, the list of services) are the quickest thing to fix. Include the correct information and a way to confirm it; your website or Google Business Profile both work. Applied corrections persist across our data refresh cycles.

Challenging your score

Scores are never changed by hand. If you believe your score is wrong, the issue is that the underlying data is incorrect, such as reviews being matched to the wrong business, the wrong Google reviews being pulled in, or a summary misrepresenting what reviewers actually wrote. When you submit a dispute, those sources are checked again and your listing is regenerated from the corrected data. A dispute is about fixing bad data, not requesting a higher number.

Asking for removal

Listings are removed if your business has closed permanently, the listing is a duplicate of another entry, or your business falls outside the scope of the directory. The directory also checks all listings monthly to catch and remove businesses that have shut down automatically. If your business is operating, listed only once, and provides flooring contracting services in Connecticut, the directory may decline your removal request, and you will be told why.
